Like most tools in this space, Venue relies on non-refundable deposits for no-show protection rather than charging a card after the fact. So does Patron.
The bottom line
If you take real deposit volume, Venue Ink's percentage quietly becomes the most expensive line in your month. Patron's flat subscription + 0% cut is cheaper the busier you get. It also adds structured DM intake, a markup canvas, and consent forms Venue doesn't have.
